Dacey Hunter is a self-taught collagist and sculptor. She has enjoyed international regocnition since 2003, when one of her sculptures was chosen to front an exhibition at the San Francisco Public Library.
While she continues to explore a variety of media, Hunter Finds greatest satisfaction in paper, fabric, and clay. Her talent for combining words and images gives rein to her offbeat sense of humor; her minimalistic approach allows the viewer a great deal of interpretive freedom.
Hunter's works have been shown in gallery venues in New York and North Carolina, and are held in private collections throughout the United States, Great Britain, and Canada.
